Al Qasimia University in Sharjah and the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies in Dubai signed a memorandum of understanding at the headquarters of the university, where Al Qasimia University was represented by its Chancellor Dr. Rashad Mohammed Salem and the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Director of the College.
This agreement comes within the framework of the desire of the College of Islamic and Arab Studies to deepen the bonds of cultural relationship and fruitful cooperation with Al Qasimia University, one of the Islamic scientific and universities in the Arab and Islamic world, which comes under the direct supervision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as the desire of the two parties to promote the exchange of knowledge through the agreement, and support academic programs, research activities and community service.
The memorandum included joint cooperation between the two parties in the field of higher education and scientific research and the dissemination of knowledge through the development of academic curricula and events concerned with the field of scientific and literary studies in general, and participation in joint research projects and cooperation in facilitating the submission of various applications of international organizations supporting research.
