The emirate of Sharjah flourishes with institutes of knowledge and centers of art and culture that draw on its religion, language, heritage and experiences. Al Qasimia University (AQU) is one such young institution which has contributed to the country's march for excellence in knowledge, development, and creativity, based on the vision of its founder His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah - may Allah protect him. The university, as bright as sunshine, is a gift from His Highness to the entire world.
AQU aims to build a generation of learners, upon Islamic values such as tolerance, affection and moderation. To achieve this noble goal, the university is making great strides in providing an enriching experience that combines teaching and learning along with nurturing values and creativity by adopting a rigorous curriculum and employing experts in the fields of education and management.
The university spares no effort in providing all kinds of support to its students so that their energy is invested in seeking knowledge with sincerity; honing their skills; conveying the teachings of this religion of tolerance to others and fulfilling their duties as Muslims and citizens of their respective countries.
Just as AQU is keen to advance its core mission in teaching and learning according to approved academic standards, it is also making great strides in strengthening its leading role in scientific research and community service.
