Al Qasimia University in Sharjah and Al Dhaid Sports and Cultural Club signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the importance of universities' interaction with sports clubs in the emirate and maximizing the benefit through the exchange of cultural and scientific activities and information.
The memorandum was signed by Al Qasimia University at its headquarters Dr. Rashad Salem, Chancellor of the University, and by Al Dhaid Sports and Cultural Club Khalifa Abdullah bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club, in the presence of Dr. Essam Ajami, Professor at Al Qasimia University, and Saeed Obaid Al Tunaiji, Vice Chairman of the Club, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both parties.
For his part, Ibn Huwaiden said: The cooperation with Al Qasimia University is a guarantee for the success of the vision of Al Dhaid Club and its development in the cultural, social and sports aspects, stressing that he and the members of the club's board of directors will work to invest this cooperation for the benefit of both parties and develop cooperation between them in the various aspects that belong to the students of the university and to the club's employees and pioneers, and to the central region of success and development.
