The Holy Quran and Sunnah Foundation in Sharjah

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Holy Quran and Sunnah Foundation in Sharjah and Al Qasimia University was signed yesterday morning at the headquarters of Al Qasimia University, signed by the University's Chancellor, Dr. Rashad Salem and Foundation’s Chairman, Sultan Matar bin Dalmouk. The signing of the memorandum was attended by Abdullah Khalaf Al-Hosani, Acting Director of the Holy Quran Foundation, Fawzi Khalaf Al-Enezi, Head of the Educational Affairs Department at the Foundation, and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Arousi, Director of the Special Centers Division at the Foundation. ​​
 
The MoU stipulated that the two parties shall cooperate in establishing frameworks for joint cooperation between them in accordance with an advanced and effective institutional system, in order to ensure the success of this relationship and its continuous development to serve students studying at AlQasimia University in accordance with a strategy that helps achieve sustainable development in the Emirate of Sharjah. ​
 
The memorandum confirmed that the Holy Quran and Sunnah Foundation will provide distinguished and experienced cadres to supervise the memorization of the Holy Quran at the university, while supervising the organization of various prizes and competitions in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Rashad Salem, Rector of Al Qasimia University, praised the signing of the memorandum with the Holy Quran and Sunnah Foundation in Sharjah, which meets with the efforts of the Al Qasimia University and the Foundation in encouraging the preservation of the Book of Allah Almighty and in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in establishing the university and receiving students from all countries of the world, to draw from the Book of Allah blessed and exalted.
 
For his part, Prof. Dr. Rashad Salem, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, praised the signing of the memorandum with the Holy Quran and Sunnah Foundation in Sharjah, which meets with the efforts of the Al Qasimia University and the Foundation in encouraging the preservation of the Book of Allah Almighty and in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in establishing the university and receiving students from all countries of the world, to draw from the Book of Allah Almighty.
 
Sultan Matar bin Dalmouk, Chairman of the Holy Quran Foundation, stressed the importance of this constructive cooperation between the Foundation and AlQasimia University to enhance cooperation between the Foundation and scientific academic bodies, including the newly established AlQasimia University, which joined the edifices of higher education in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the importance of concerted efforts to enhance cooperation and enable students to benefit effectively.​
