The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Work and Al Qasimia University in Sharjah signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation between the two sides, especially in the educational, humanitarian and cultural fields.
The memorandum was signed by Ahmed Shabib Al-Dhaheri, Director General of the Foundation, and Dr. Rashad Salem, Chancellor of the University.
Al-Dhaheri said that the memorandum includes the preparation of joint scientific and cultural activities in both the university and the institution, such as seminars and national celebrations, as well as the exchange of scientific and administrative experiences and publications issued by both sides.
He added that the memorandum includes an exchange of opinion and advice to support the efforts of modernization and institutional development between the two parties and coordination between them, as well as the implementation of joint activities to ensure good implementation and participation in the establishment of events.
He said that under the memorandum, the "Zayed Teacher of Jurisprudence and Fundamentalism" issued by the Zayed Charity and Humanitarian Foundation will be introduced, in addition to cooperation to enhance the role of the Arabic language.
He explained that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, confirm the need to open the Foundation to all community institutions and government agencies in the country.
