DIRECTORATE OF HUMAN RESOURCES IN SHARJAH

Directorate of Human Resources in Sharjah signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Qasimia University in the field of administrative support, at the headquarters of the Department in Khan on Wednesday morning.
 
The MoU was signed by Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadem,Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Head of Directorate of Human Resources, and Dr. Rashad Mohammed Salem, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, in the presence of Dr. Mansour Al Shamsi, Human Resources Advisor at the Directorate, Abdullah Al Zaabi, Director of Branches Affairs at the Department, Saleh Al Zaabi, Human Resources Systems Expert, Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, Head of Development and Follow-up Department, and a number of officials and heads of departments from both sides. The MoU aims to enrich the areas of human resources qualification in the emirate, and to serve future strategies and ambitions in human development, by upgrading the level of partnerships and cooperation between various institutions.

The memorandum has established general frameworks to activate joint cooperation and coordination between the two parties in supporting the administrative process, where the directorate will provide all the necessary administrative facilities and support for the implementation of the Human Resources Law, and provide administrative and legal consultations through qualified administrative cadres to ensure the accuracy of implementation.
 
The two parties will also cooperate in providing databases that meet the administrative and technical needs of Al Qasimia University and conducting interviews for candidates for these positions.
 
Dr. Tariq bin Khadem, Head of the Human Resources Department, stressed the importance of the role played by the University as an influential academic and administrative edifice, and the keenness of the Department to support this role by establishing and supporting its administrative and financial infrastructure, and harnessing all capabilities in providing integrated strategic support to the University in accordance with the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in enhancing institutional cohesion and activating partnerships in the Emirate.
 
For his part, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Salem, Chancellor of AlQasimia University, stressed the role of the university in the progress and academic prosperity witnessed by the country, as an educational edifice with international standards.​
