Praise be to Allah- the Merciful and the Most Gracious- and prayers and blessings of Allah be upon Prophet Mohamed and his companions and followers.

Islamic Sharia is rich in changes of measures and judgments that are imposed by the effects of reality and its variables as per temporal and spatial needs. Early Imams and jurists used to respond to this type of variable reality as they understood the importance of considering current reality, its specificities, and multiple aspects. Consequently, it has been the solemn task for contemporary jurists to continue this tradition, especially after it has been rooted within the investigations of fundamentalism, and addressed by the books of fundamentalist and jurisprudential rules.
 
It was decided in the texts of the rules to deal with new developments and variables, including their saying: "The change of provisions by changing their obligations", their saying: "Some provisions change with the change of time", and their saying: "There is no denying the difference of provisions according to time", "The fatwa varies according to different people, conditions, places and times", "The provisions on returns follow the returns and change when they change", and other rules.
 
 
There is no doubt that the blessing of the mind that God has bestowed on man enables him to probe the depths and discover the submerged, and God's cosmic laws required that this mind be lit to result from time to time in new scientific discoveries in most fields, medical, engineering, technical, economic, and others.
 
 Obviously, this tremendous breakthrough in progress has changed the reality we live in and greatly affected it, which in turn reflected on the Sharia sciences.

In order to keep pace with these changes, scientists are obliged to address the issues of the nation in the light of new incidents, especially that the Sharia texts are finite, the incidents are infinite, and the ultimate does not meet the infinite, as the minds of the discoverers have made the elements of this tremendous progress of efforts, as much as the efforts of jurists, scientists and researchers are made to show the rule of God Almighty, and the extent to which these Sharia sciences are affected by the contemporary reality in which we live.
 
 
Therefore, Al Qasimi University and Al Wasl University have decided to hold an international conference entitled "Contemporary Reality and its Impact on Sharia Sciences"
