The Department of Scientific Research is responsible for managing approved research projects and activities. The department’s duties and scope include:
Preparing reports and guidelines for research activities related to Al Qasimia University’s research projects, journals, and international publications involving faculty and students.
Overseeing the management of research projects, including associated expenses, deadlines, progress reports, and final research reports.
Developing a comprehensive database for research project activities and outcomes published in international journals.
Providing necessary information and forms for research activities, including project requests and extensions, and coordinating funding for research essentials such as books, consumables, equipment, and faculty development grants for conferences and training.
The Department of Scientific Research collaborates with the editorial boards of Al Qasimia University’s academic journals to ensure compliance with university guidelines and international standards and ethics. This includes clearly defining research scope across various disciplines, including Islamic sciences and studies, Islamic economics, and Arabic language and literature.
