Scholarship Eligibility and Conditions:Applicants for master’s scholarships must meet the following eligibility requirements and comply with the applicable regulations.
- Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree awarded outside the United Arab Emirates must obtain official degree equivalency from the competent authority in the UAE.
- The cumulative bachelor’s GPA must be no less than 3.0 out of 4.0, or its equivalent. The relevant college council may set a higher minimum GPA where program requirements warrant.
- Scholarship recipients must be fully dedicated to full-time study for the duration of the program. They must also undertake duties as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the university in accordance with the governing policies and procedures.
- Prior to commencing study, recipients must obtain the necessary approvals from the competent authorities in the UAE for employment in the capacity of Research and Teaching Assistant.
- Nomination for the scholarship is subject to the approval of the relevant academic department council, based on the approved selection criteria and competitive ranking.
- The College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research approves the final list of primary and reserve candidates.
- Recipients must comply with all academic regulations, institutional policies, and applicable procedures throughout the scholarship period.
- Continuation of the scholarship is conditional upon maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0, or its equivalent, or the minimum threshold set by the College of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
- Applicants must submit a detailed curriculum vitae, supported by relevant documentary evidence, as part of the application.
- Applicants must satisfy any additional requirements determined by the academic program or the funding body. Such requirements will be announced when the application cycle opens.
General Provisions- Applications that are incomplete or fail to meet the published requirements will not be considered.
- All applications are assessed competitively. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not constitute a guarantee of award.
- The University reserves the right to amend the scholarship conditions or suspend the scholarship scheme in accordance with approved regulations and institutional needs.
