The College of Arts & Humanities is concerned with the Arabic Language and its literature in the best and soundest way ever as to its eloquence, beauty, literature, history and openness. So, it respects the other international languages and literatures, drawing thereby on Al Qasimia University's mission, vision and objectives in caring about the Arabic Language and the Arab, Islamic and Human History in light of the variation of languages, cultures and arts, to graduate students highly specialized and well-equipped with the objective scientific knowledge, the communicative linguistic skill, the moderate and balanced openness to the other with pride in the Islamic identity, and the acquisition of the latest techniques of scientific research in languages, literatures, cultures, arts and history in a way that is compatible with the broadest scope of the values of Islam in its moderation and tolerance.

Starting in the very begging with the Department of Arabic Language & Literature, the College of Arts & Humanities awards Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language & Literature in accordance with a modern academic plan gathering between originality and reality on one hand, and the scientific research and practical training on other hand, so that the department graduates would serve as messengers for the Arabic Language in the different fields of work, teaching it to others, pursuing research in its sciences and literatures, keeping it and seeking to promote it and its role among the international living languages.​
