About College

​The College of Arts & Humanities was established in 1436 A.H. /2015 A.D., with the aim of fulfilling the Al Qasimia University's vision, mission and objectives in caring about the Arabic Language and its literature and the Islamic History and its role in the human civilization. To this end, the University laid down a balanced, modern academic plan gathering between originality and reality. It started first with teaching in the Arabic Language & Literature Department, and got the general academic accreditation for its program for the Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language & Literature degree for the academic year 2014 – 2015 A.D. Teaching in this Department is a prominent elite of the well-established scholars specialized in the Arabic Language and its literature who convey their vast knowledge to about 200 students - male and female - belonging to tens of sister and friendly countries, with love of learning the Arabic Language and its literature in its Arab and Islamic environment in the framework of its cultural relations with the sciences of Islam and History on one hand, and the modern university requirements of computerization on the other, representing the common factor that gathers them together. The College aims to prepare graduates who are faithful to the Arabic Language as to its moderate speech obvious to the entire mankind.

The College meanwhile tries to devise other programs for the bachelor and higher studies degrees in light of its open umbrella of knowledge, so that it would comply with the universal mission of Al Qasimia University on tolerance and moderation.
