First: Department of Qur'anic Studies

​Aim to study the Quran-relating sciences such as the causes of revelation, the science of exegesis, the Meccan and Medinian suras, and enrich the specialized scientific research in service to the local and international society.

This Department has to do with the following specialized courses: Analytical Exegesis, Thematic Exegesis, Exegetes' Methodologies, Sciences of the Holy Quran, Inimitability of the Holy Quran, Rules of Exegesis, The Ambiguous Verses, Sources of Exegesis and Exegetes' Classes.



Second: Department of the Various Modes of Recitation

Aim to study the consecutively transmitted ten modes of Qura'nic recitation, rulings of recitation and Tajweed, care about the Qur'anic various modes of recitation in performance and collection, and enrich the specialized scientific research in service to the local and international society.

This Department has to do with the following courses: The Holy Quran, Study of the Ten Modes of Recitation, Presentation of the Holy Quran in the Ten Modes of Recitation, Diacritics and Calligraphy of the Holy Quran, Verses Count, Tajweed, Introduction to the Qur'anic Various Modes of Recitation, The Qur'anic Inimitability in light of the Various Modes of Recitation, Study of the Irregular Various Modes of Recitation, Al Waqf & Al Ibtida' (i.e. Pause & Start) and Reciters' Classes.
