Vision, Mission and Objectives

 
Vision: 
A center of excellence in teaching languages, and a pioneer in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. 

Mission:
To develop the ability of learners at different language levels to become proficient in Arabic (a second language), through an integrated language curriculum based on the acquisition of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The center responds to the linguistic needs of students, according to their academic specialties, while strengthening self-learning skills and critical thinking. 
 
Objectives:
  1. Providing high quality education to students in the areas of language and learning.
  2. Qualifying students to join the colleges of the university and its departments in various specialities.
  3. Providing ongoing opportunities for students to develop effective lifelong self-learning strategies.
  4. Developing a communication network that allows the expertise of all members of the center to be used in decision-making, especially in the areas of teaching and assessment.
  5. Develop a communication network that allows dialogue between the center and other academic departments at the university with the aim of enhancing the curriculum, as well as actively contributing to the common curriculum in Arabic.
  6. Advanced knowledge of language learning and teaching through research and scholarly activity.
  7. Providing a stimulating workplace that respects cultural and individual diversity. 
  8. ​Provide students with the necessary language thinking skills to thrive in a competitive international academic environment.
