Facilities and Maintenance Department

The responsibilities of Facilities, Infrastructure, and Maintenance Management encompass project management, general services, and the preparation of necessary reports, as well as the supervision of scheduled activities, operation projects, and maintenance operations within the university. This department ensures the provision of maintenance and essential services for the university's colleges and departments. It consists of a cohesive team of qualified experts and specialists dedicated to meeting all the needs of campus management and facilities.

To achieve the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and excellence in the university's facilities and infrastructure within its academic environment.
 
Mission:
To apply the principles and standards of environmental sustainability, and to preserve the university's physical environment through periodic maintenance of buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. Furthermore, to provide all associated services in accordance with best practices.
 
Objectives: 
  1. Implement the university's general policy concerning operation and maintenance activities.
  2. Establish technical specifications for maintenance services across all university facilities.
  3. Develop a maintenance work program to ensure the preservation of the university's facilities.
  4. Monitor the work conducted by contractors responsible for other university facilities and infrastructure.
  5. Evaluate and review the proposals submitted by construction and maintenance service providers.
  6. Supervise local companies contracted by the university for maintenance services.
  7. Conduct regular inspections of university buildings and facilities and prepare reports on their condition.
  8. Upgrade and enhance the university's infrastructure and systems.
