The Finance Directorate mainly aims to realize the University's vision in offering the highest standards of finance and accounting services for colleges and directorates alike. The Finance Directorate in Al Qasimia University is responsible for supervising all the University's calculations including preparation of the annual budgets, monitoring the account movements, disbursement, preparation of fiscal reports and analysis, and management of the debits and credits, etc. The Directorate also seeks to reinforce the risk management operation relating to financial resources through the effective work of high efficiency in a way that suits the International Accounting Standards. 


Vision
A Directorate (that is) Distinctive and Safe in Offering Financial Services in the University according to the Well-Known Local and International Finance and Accounting Standards.​


Mission
Laying down the proper financial plan to meet the operational requirements for all the organizational entities in the University, applying the principles of transparency and integrity, as well as presenting accurate information about the University's financial position in a way that secures the realization of the financial safety.


​Objectives

  1. Implement the accredited financial policies on accounting and budgeting and monitor the implementation process.
  2. Monitor the financial services' daily performance and protect the University's financial assets.
  3. Do all the tasks on the preparation of salaries for the University's employees, auditing and disbursing them, as well as collecting revenues.
  4. Monitor the work approaches on the financial affairs and monitor the records and documents in use and ensure that they conform to the University's laws, regulations and systems.
  5. Organize the University's, academics' and administrative entities' annual planning budget process.
  6. Ensure the integration and accuracy of the University's financial records.
