The ceremony was held, on Thursday morning, at the University City Theater, for the graduation of 235 students, representing 45 nationalities, for the academic year 2021-2022.
The celebration was attended by members of the Board of Trustees, Vice Presidents of the University, deans of faculties, members of the academic and administrative departments, a group of guests, ambassadors, consuls and attachés accredited to the UAE.
His Excellency Prof. Awwad Al Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University, gave a speech in which he expressed the University’s joy in graduating the second batch of graduates, for the academic year 2021-2022, extending the highest congratulations and blessings to HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH DR. SULTAN BIN MOHAMMED ALQASIMI, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, Founder of Al Qasimia University, for the graduation of the second batch of students who proudly learned in Sharjah.
Al Khalaf extended his sincere congratulations, thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Jamal Al Tarifi, Head of Al Qasimia University, congratulating graduated students who came to Sharjah in search of science and knowledge; received by the university to join the academic programmes until graduation; and returned to their countries as ambassadors for Al Qasimia University, telling the great achievements that were accomplished at the university in a short period.
His Excellency Jamal Al Tarifi, Head of Al Qasimia University, delivered a speech stressing that Al Qasimia University is moving at a fast and advanced pace according to the wish of its founder, HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH DR. SULTAN BIN MOHAMMED ALQASIMI, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to be an international university based on the Holy Quran and the Arabic language supporting science and knowledge, attracting distinguished people from different countries of the world to learn and benefit from knowledge and the academic programmes, so that they return to their homelands as ambassadors of the tolerant and moderate Islam.

The representative of the graduate students delivered a speech, in which he praised the support of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and his vision aiming at hosting students from different countries of the world to study in Al Qasimia University, to return to their homelands bearing the tolerant human values, sciences and skills they acquired during their education at the university and unforgettable memories of the UAE and its good people.
