The Al Qasimia University Library was inaugurated on April 26, 2014, during the official opening of the University.
It was established as a generous gift from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi,
aiming to serve as a cornerstone of the University’s mission, which reflects the noble principles of Islam upon which
the Emirate of Sharjah’s message is built. The library is also considered a distinctive landmark
and a shining symbol in the educational and cultural journey of the Emirate of Sharjah.
It is located north of the main university buildings and occupies an area of 6,150 square meters.
