In yet another move underscoring his enduring commitment to education, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and Founder of Al Qasimia University (AQU), has approved the highest budget in the university’s history for the Academic Year 2025–2026.
Alongside this historic investment, His Highness also granted 500 fully funded scholarships to students from across the globe for enrollment in the upcoming fall semester—raising the number of nationalities represented on campus to an impressive 133. This bold step further cements the university’s reputation as a vibrant, multicultural hub of learning and dialogue.
Mr. Jamal Al Turaifi, AQU President, together with members of the Board of Trustees and the AQU Chancellor, extended their heartfelt gratitude to His Highness. They emphasized that this unwavering support reflects the Ruler’s vision of empowering youth through education and advancing the university as a distinguished global institution devoted to spreading the values of moderation, tolerance, and intellectual excellence.
