Al Qasimia University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Emirates Creative Society to enhance joint cooperation, exchange knowledge and experiences, and establish a permanent partnership that contributes to achieving sustainable development.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Rashad Salem, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, and Sheikh Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Creative Society, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides.
The terms of the memorandum of understanding, which lasts for three years, stipulate that the two sides will cooperate in launching and implementing training programs and workshops in the fields of creativity and innovation, and also cooperate in the field of publishing research and exchanging scientific studies and private consultations to support and empower national talents and innovations in the UAE society, and benefit from the experts and researchers of the two parties in this field.

The agreement also provided for the formation of a joint working committee from both sides to implement and develop this strategic partnership, and to develop the necessary administrative, financial and technical frameworks and measures to implement any research projects or hold cultural, social or training activities in which the two parties cooperate, and that Al Qasimia University allows the members of the association and its affiliates to train at Al Qasimia University in various fields and departments through prior coordination.

Dr. Rashad Salem said: Al Qasimi University is working to provide a scientific environment capable of establishing well-established traditions of scientific research in various fields of knowledge, playing a key role in the development of the local community and providing various rehabilitation services to contribute to the training and development of individuals in various fields, through the formation of a permanent partnership with the sponsors of the activities and programs of the university and the donors of its students to achieve the maximum benefit from those initiatives for the benefit of the targeted and beneficiaries.​
